# Exclude from database

We know we can exclude records when analyzing data, and I believe there is way to exclude data from the database without rewriting the SQL query. I do believe we did it once, and I did not take notes, and can’t remember.  
I have been looking through documentation and can’t seem to find it.

A little help anyone.

Found it - it is a filter on the database.
