# Flex Mode : Export to CSV when nesting

The flex mode supprots CSV if a flat grid, however when nesting occurs we can no longer export to CSV. The fundamental reason for CSV export is when nested we no longer get a flattened output, anything that is grouped up is shown once not many times (like we get on CSV using standard querying).
