Hi,

I know I can use “Account Restrictions” to prevent users from drilling into the transaction level on Financial Statements, and I also know that I can set restrictions on a user’s license/access to the Financial Statements module as a whole.

What I _can’t_ currently do is restrict users from seeing individual Accounts altogether. My use case is that I want to give users direct access to our P&L in Financial Statements, and I would want to hide specific Accounts _while still having the accounts contribute to P&L numbers_. Right now, if I restrict their access to any accounts, it no longer contributes toward the P&L in their view.

A related suggestion would be to provide an option to “Export Group-Level Only”, where the exported P&L into Excel would only include over Group/Calculation level, without including the subtotaled accounts under them. This would make it much easier to download/share that type of report to more people if we didn’t want them to see account-level information.
