# Sharing Dashboard to Folder

Any idea why I can’t share my dashboard to a folder?

The image isn’t loading for me at the moment, but I’ll ask the easy questions first. Do you have permissions to share to a folder? (There is separate permissions to share with users and share to a folder.) And if yes to that question, then have you been added to that folder? (I don’t think you can share to the folder until you’ve been added to that particular folder.)

Yes I have permissions and yes added to the folder.

I’ve managed to do it through the admin bit but not through the normal share screen

Besides the permissions Share to folder/users, is your user granted access to the folder?

If you are not allocated to a folder, it will not appear on the sharing folder list.
