Has anyone tried to document Measures, Dimensions, Attributes for their Phocas databases for business users.
If yes, what tools/approach has been followed or worked best?

Yes, we have some documentation in an Excel file.
It is possible to export limited meta-data using Report on the Database Administration screen. This can provide a starting point for documentation.
It would be great to see functionality within the tool to enter descriptions/definitions against every object.
