Export option on dashboard widget

Hi,

It would be very useful to have the Export option on the widget within the dashboard rather than clicking analyse every time.

Would it be possible to have this:

It would also be reliant on the security permissions of that users profile. Perhaps we need an extra option within the profile section to allow us to control which users have this ability:

If so it would be important to make it secure so only those who were authorized could export.

Hi @JonKemp. Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve logged it in our system. This is a nice way of simplifying exporting of query widgets. We currently have dashboard improvements on the roadmap. We’ll let this gather interest to see if it can be included as part of that.

Hi @Riasat,

I marked as solved, but unfortunately had to reactivate. There is one type of export not covered with this, which is nested widgets. No download icon is present on these types.

Is this isolated to myself or a known issue?

@JonKemp I notice the same about nested widgets. Really great that the other widgets can be exported right from the dashboard, though!
