It would be fantastic if the Period dropdown in a Database reflected simply the word “Date”.
In conversations with users, I frequently notice confusion on the terminology when trying to distinguish a reference to the Mode - Period or Period Dropdown, especially when the Mode is set to period, and you ask a user to select the Period dropdown.
Just a suggestion
