I have done my sales budget using Easy Budget Upload. This is mapped using the Sales Rep, Customer, Ship To. This is what it looks like right now. One tab is for the value & the other for cost, so that we can compare Value & Margin.
But we’d like to add a product sales budget that is mapped using the Product Group.
I tried adding it as another tab in the same Budget stream, but my budget numbers become wildly inaccurate when I do that.
Is this even possible with Easy Budget Upload?
If so, any tips or suggestions on how to do it would be hugely appreciated.
Hi @lbullard90 , I’m still new so could be off on this (and someone else in the community might have another suggestion) but the image shows the measure coming through as Text, which might be causing the issue. If the original file has the columns with dollar figures set to General, could you try changing that format to Number? Then upload again to see if that resolves it for you?
Also, if two budget data items map to the same measure, the database will combine them. To budget by product and by sales rep separately, using easy budget upload, then separate budget streams would be the way to go.
