Change Sync Source for a Database?

Is there a way to change the sync source for the tables in a database without having to re-create the entire database structure?

I’m trying to create a test copy of a database where the tables will be from a clone of a Sync extract. The table names are the same and the fields should remain the same as well, perhaps with a few additions. All I would need to change is the name of the sync source for each table that’s involved.

I believe you should be able to “clone” your database, then go into the “Design” view and drag the relevant tables from the new sync source over the ones that are currently being used. Choose the option to “Replace” when prompted.
