Cross reference CRM and Sales database information in a dashboard widget

Hi there,

I want to create a dashboard widget that shows the number of accounts that are either 0 spend or behind budget that haven’t had a CRM action recorded against them in the last month.

From looking at dashboard widgets it seems that I can only cross reference information form within the same database, not across two databases, unless I am missing something?

If anyone has any ideas they would be welcome!

Hey Laura,

If you have access to Database Designer and your customers’ account#'s on CRM line up with their account#'s in your Sales database, you could probably map the CRM activity info into the Sales database as a Measure (e.g. “Activity Count”), then use that within a dashboard widget running off the Sales database.
