I’m getting some unexpected behavior using the “Limit Rows” feature on a dashboard query widget. This particular query is using transaction mode. The data is sorted by Qty. If I limit the rows to the top 20, the sort just goes all wonky (technical term.) If I remove the limit, or hit the Analyze button to pop that query out, the sort is corrected. I’ve included a couple of screen snips below. Both are exactly the same data, same sort (by qty), but the first is limited to top 20. Note the qty column is NOT sorted correctly.

I too have experienced unexpected results with the top and bottom limit options in grid view on dashboards, to the point now where I don’t use them.
