Changing a date range globally in Custom report

Had to think about how to title this but have you ever built a report with a huge number of custom columns then find that you’re likely to need to change that report to different date ranges over time? Annoying to have to change each column individually isn’t it? Not too bad if you’re just picking another already created date range but not if its a specific date or range.
