Just had a user accidently delete 2 dashboards. I spoke to support and we would need to perform a restore across the whole platform on all favourites and dashboards to the night before. As we have globally over 250+ users and no means of monitoring new favourites and dashboard creations we cannot warrant a restore as it could perform more harm than good.
Therefore I would like to propose a recycle bin approach to Dashboards and favourites where anything that the user deletes is marked for deletion for 30 days and then permanently removed but this would at least give the user chance to undo any costly mistakes.
I am not proposing this down to the widget level, something simple which stops the user accidently deleting an entire favourite or dashboard would be very helpful.
